HEARTHDAY
Effective October 15, 2026

Your home is
your business.

Hearthday does not collect your app data.

Hearthday is developed and operated by Clayton Johnson. Questions about this policy can be sent to hearthday@clayj.app.

What stays on your iPhone

Room names, tasks, notes, preferences, reset state, and completion history are stored locally on your device. We do not receive, sell, or share them. The app has no account, analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs.

Optional reminders

Daily reminders use Apple's local notification system. They do not send your task list or home data to a server. You can turn them off in Hearthday or in iPhone Settings.

Backups you control

You choose when and where to export a backup. It contains your room names, tasks, notes, preferences, and care history in a readable file. Protect it as you would any personal document. Saving it to a cloud provider is your choice and is subject to that provider's policies. Apple's device backup may also include app data according to your settings.

Deleting data

Use Erase this home in Hearthday Settings to remove local app records and the previous-save recovery copy. Removing the app also removes its local app data. Exported files and device backups are managed separately through Files and your backup settings.

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and resolve your request. Please avoid including private home information that is not needed. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence.

Buying Hearthday

Apple handles the app purchase and payment information under its own policies. Hearthday has no in-app purchases or subscriptions and does not send purchase records to us.

Changes
